At Tiny House Alba we handle your personal data with care. In this statement we explain what data we collect, why it is necessary, and how we store it safely. This privacy statement applies to the website and to all services offered through Tiny House Alba.

1. What data do we collect?

When you make a reservation, we collect:

  • Personal details: your name, email address, phone number, country and place of residence (for the municipal guest register).
  • Booking details: the dates of your stay, the number of guests and chosen options.
  • Payment details: your payment is processed via Stripe Payments. Your payment details are handled securely there. We do not see credit card numbers or banking details.
  • Contact details: everything you share with us via email or WhatsApp.

2. Why do we collect this data?

We collect and use your data for:

  • Processing your reservation.
  • Providing practical information, such as access instructions or house rules.
  • Handling payments via Stripe.
  • Meeting legal obligations, such as tax regulations and municipal registration.

3. Which parties do we work with?

To provide our services properly, we work with a few external systems:

  • Bookingmood: for availability and managing bookings. This is where you enter your details during the reservation process.
  • Stripe Payments: this is used to process your payments securely. Tiny House Alba does not have access to your payment details. Stripe has its own privacy policy.

4. How is your data secured?

  • We take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or misuse.
  • All systems we use are secured with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
  • We do not employ staff. Only we have access to your data.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the data we hold about you.
  • Request a correction if something is incorrect.
  • Request deletion, unless we are legally required to retain the data.

6. How long is your data retained?

  • Your data is only retained for as long as necessary, for example for administrative or tax purposes. After that it is securely deleted.
